The association of staffing companies in Austria (VZA) has partnered with the Danube University Krems, which will offer a new degree in professional workforce management. The degree is aimed at those early in their careers, allowing participants to work with the staffing industry and build their contact list early on.
“Common projects, chats and dissertations will create an exchange between research and practical experience, offering ideal conditions to increase the level of knowledge in the industry,” the VZA said.
The degree will launch in January 2013 and aims to increase the professionalism of the staffing industry in Austria.
The CEO of Austria’s largest staffing firm Trenkwalder, Klaus Lercher who also heads the VZA, said: “Temporary staffing is an important factor for Austria’s business location and allows flexibility for companies. The Danube University Krems offers a tailored training programme, creating uniform quality standards.”
