Vienna-headquartered staffing firm Easystaff has expanded its national reach with the acquisition of local competitor Die unabhängige Vermittlungs (DUVG). Easy staff specialises in the hospitality, promotion, event, IT and commercial industries.
DUVG has now been integrated into the business and founder of the company, Klara Posavac-Fede, will continue to work in the firm within the customer service and consultancy unit. She has been working in the recruitment industry for 13 years. DUVG specialises in human resource management, training and recruitment services.
Easystaff said the acquisition will expand its portfolio and expertise within the Austrian staffing sector. Founded in 2001, the company counts Kraft Foods, Sony, Panasonic, Huawei, Microsoft, Porsche and Telekom Austria among its clients.
According to research by Staffing Industry Analysts, the Austrian staffing market is expected to grow moderately this year despite legal amendments which have caused insecurity. The Austrian staffing market has seen the introduction of new staffing regulations this year which critics say will have a detrimental effect on the industry. The changes secure equal treatment of agency workers regarding, for instance, working hours and leave, also raising labour costs for recruiters.
