The Austrian Association of Temporary Employers (VZA), has elected Alexander Praschek as new President. Previously Praschek was, as Vice-President, in charge of the Association's international relations.
It will be a priority for Mr. Praschek to further extend international relations with other temporary employment associations via the International Confederation of Private Employment Agencies (Ciett). Praschek said "faced with the opening of the labour market [in 2011 to Eastern European staffing agencies] VZA must actively contribute to building a framework for the future labour market of Europe."
Mr. Praschek has a degree in business studies. He joined staffing agency Bueroring Personalmanagement GmbH in 1993 where he became Managing Director in 1997.
