Asia – Adecco appoints new Japan head

10 December 2012

Christophe Duchatellier has been named as regional head for Adecco Asia and Japan, extending his current role as head of the company's Southeast and Northeast Asia operations. He will take on his new responsibilities from 1 January and will also join the Adecco Group executive committee.

Earlier this year, Mr Duchatellier relocated to Singapore from France to head up Adecco operations in Asia. He previously headed the company’s Professional Staffing segment in France.

Mr Duchatellier joined Adecco in 2010, following an 18-year career with Michael Page International, where he was the regional managing director for Europe, and a member of the executive board.

Patrick De Maeseneire, Adecco Group CEO, said: “Christophe's expanded role sees him assuming responsibility for Adecco's operations in Japan, an important market for Adecco with over 2,100 colleagues and 141 offices country-wide.”

50-year old Mr Duchatellier studied Law at the Universite Paris-Sorbonne and Universite Pantheon-Assas, before embarking upon a successful career in international recruitment.
