On Monday, the UK government published the annual report by the Employment Agency Standards inspectorate which monitors compliance with employment rights in the country’s staffing industry.
The report outlines the performance and achievements of the EAS between April 2011 and March 2012. The EAS found a number of infringements, recovering £128,523 in the year. Most of the money related to non-payment of wages to temporary workers or fees charged to jobseekers.
