Staffing firms in Argentina generate around 340,000 jobs per year, according to a report by Los Andes. This shows that temporary assignments last on average three months with the largest sector for temporary workers being manufacturing. This is followed by trade and services jobs.
Roberto Giunchetti, who is the president of the Argentinian federation of temporary employment firms (Faett), said that 65% of temporary workers can be found in industrial jobs, followed by 25% who work in administration roles.
