More and more small and medium-sized firms are outsourcing HR jobs to third party providers, giving companies greater focus on running their own businesses, the Times of India writes today.
This is because smaller firms often struggle to deal with HR management which has a number of specialism such as talent acquisitions, talent management and compensation. Hence outsourcing such functions is becoming a trend among smaller companies.
“With rising competition and the need for professionalism, many family-run businesses are understanding the significance of hiring the right people, managing them better, making them more productive and becoming compliant to their requirements,” said Rituparna Chakraborty, vice president of the Indian Staffing Federation, to the paper.
“So they seek professional intervention from HR outsourcing organizations to bring in experience, systems, processes and technology.”
