Movers, Shakers & Unsung Heroes In Staffing

Max Messmer of Robert Half International fame once told me, “Matching people with jobs and then placing them at businesses is a worthwhile cause.” He should know. RHI is a $5 billion dollar company. But it’s more than that. Staffing is both a valuable and useful tool. Pick up any book about a competitive global marketplace or business today and a recurring word that leaps out at you is: talent.

Who provides the talent? The staffing industry does. Contingents or employees, staffing professionals fill the open positions to the best of their ability. Talent management is this decade’s buzz word. Pat yourselves on your back. You are doing something to be proud of.

As you go through your busy day, take the time to nominate a staffing professional who has a made a difference to the industry. In October, Staffing Industry Analysts will be compiling a list of notable staffing professionals to feature in SI Review magazine.

Lists will include:

CEOs — Chief executives of the largest firms in the industry.
Buyers — The largest users of staffing services.
Thought leaders — Staffing executives who are leading with innovations or new ideas.
Women in staffing — Key executives in the staffing industry who also happen to be women.
Veterans — Long-time industry executives with a list of accomplishments behind them.
Up and coming — Executives who are just starting out in staffing, yet have already begun to leave their mark.

If you know of someone you feel could qualify for the lists, please contact Subadhra Sriram at ssriram@staffingindustry.com or Craig Johnson at cjohnson@staffingindustry.com.
