February 12, 2016

Staffing 360 Solutions Inc. (NASD: STAF) named David Faiman as its new chief financial officer, effective March 7. He will be based at the firm’s New York headquarters.

CEO Brendan Flood has been serving as CFO since Jeff Mitchell’s resignation in September.

Faiman has more than 20 years of finance and accounting experience at both private and public companies. From 2013 to 2015, he was VP of financial planning and analysis as well as chief accounting officer of Novitex Enterprise Solutions Inc., a document outsourcing solutions provider owned by private equity firm Apollo Global Management LLC. Between 2004 to 2013, he held various senior executive roles, including acting CFO, at Cengage Learning Inc. (formerly Thomson Learning of Thomson Reuters), an educational content, technology and services company. Faiman was part of the management team which coordinated a multi-billion dollar buyout of Cengage Learning by private equity firm Apax Partners LLP.

Faiman began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in its assurance and business advisory practice, where he managed multi-billion dollar global clients over an eight-year period.

According to a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, Faiman will receive an annual base salary of $275,000 and receive a grant of 50,000 restricted shares of the Staffing 360's common stock.

“Dave is a distinguished finance executive and a fantastic addition to our management team at Staffing 360 Solutions,” said Flood. “With decades of experience at various international, multi-billion dollar enterprises, he will be a major asset as we continue to grow. In addition to his technical expertise in all areas of public company financial reporting, his emphasis on optimizing growth and raising capital is a perfect complement to our acquisition strategy in the United States and United Kingdom.”
