Largest Staffing Companies Grow Revenue an average of 7.7% In 2007

LOS ALTOS, Calif. – May 19, 2008 – In 2007, 119 staffing companies reported revenues of $100 million or more in U.S. staffing revenues, according to a new report by Staffing Industry Analysts, the premier provider of market intelligence about the contingent workforce.

The Allegis Group held its top spot from 2006 to 2007 increasing its U.S. revenues from $4.72 billion to $5.28 Billion, an 11.9% increase. The number two spot also remained the same with Adecco SA whose U.S. based staffing revenues declined from $4.66 billion to $4.48 billion.

Aggregate revenue for the largest companies totaled $65.7 billion. For these largest companies, the median rate of growth was 7.7% in 2007, in comparison to growth from the total industry of 3.7% in 2007. Proving that being a Corporate Member of Staffing Industry Analysts’ services has benefits, Corporate Members’ growth out paced non-Corporate Members by 14%. According to Staffing Industry Analysts own research, Corporate Members grew revenue by 18% in comparison to the total industry growth of 3.7% rate as previously stated.
