Tim Watts is Chairman of Pertemps and Chief Executive of Network Group Holdings which currently has a majority stake in 24 specialist recruitment businesses and a minority stake in a further two. These combined business rank the 25th largest staffing operation in Europe.
Watts joined Pertemps in 1970, a company founded by his mother, and was appointed as Director and Chief Executive of Network Group Holdings in 2008. He received an honorary Doctorate of Science degree from Aston University in recognition of his services to business and is a Fellow of the Institute of Employment Consultants. He is Deputy Lieutenant of the West Midlands and founder of the Centre for ‘Tomorrow's Company’, a thinktank that calls for closer relations between workers and all stakeholders.
