Since 2005, Annemarie Muntz is President of EuroCiett, the European Confederation of Private Employment Agencies. She is an influential lobbyist in the European Union helping to create a legal environment in which private employment agencies are able to prove their important role in a functioning labour market. She would be included in this list for her work on the Agency Work Directive alone. Muntz studied social & economical law before starting her career with the Dutch federation of private employment agencies, ABU, in 1986. In 1996, she left ABU to work for Vedior and, following Randstad’s takeover of Vedior in 2008, became Director Group Public Affairs at Randstad, a position she still holds alongside her role at EuroCiett.
