Managed service providers to take on more SOW business as companies continue to roll such consultants into their CW programs. However, when MSPs are supporting SOW business, what features do they typically offer? In our 2013 VMS & MSP Service Differentiators survey, we gave MSPs a scenario of a large program with SOW business and asked providers what percent of such programs they deliver various features to. Across all such programs reported by respondents, invoicing and bill-pay service was the most common feature. Some of the more strategic features (e.g. workforce mix analysis, scoring RFP response bids) were less common.
