Xtreme Consulting Group Inc., a Kirkland, Wash.-based provider of business consulting, information technology consulting and staffing services, reached a definitive agreement to acquire Kipe Technology Resources, a Beaverton, Ore.-based IT staffing firm. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Kipe’s employees will be integrated under the Xtreme brand as the company expands its share in the Pacific Northwest IT consulting market. Current Kipe president Carol Sampson will play a role in integrating the two companies internally as well as helping Kipe’s clients with the transition.

“The combination of Kipe with Xtreme will create one of the largest consulting and staffing firms based in the Northwest,” said Greg Rankich, CEO and co-founder of Xtreme. “The acquisition greatly advances our strategy of expanding our customer base, adding depth to our talent pool, and strengthening our position in the marketplace.”

The integration of both companies will take place during the month of August, according to Rankich.
