Wyoming posts lowest jobless rate in February

Wyoming reported the lowest jobless rate among all states in February at 3.9%, up from 3.7% in January, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today.

Michigan posted the highest unemployment rate among states at 12.0%. It was followed by South Carolina, 11.0%; Oregon, 10.8%; North Carolina, 10.7%; California, 10.5%; Rhode Island, 10.5%; and Nevada, 10.1%.

Unemployment rates rose in all states and the District of Columbia in February compared with a year ago.
