CBS Chicago reports workers across the country were scheduled to take part in protests calling for a $15 per hour minimum wage. The “Fight for 15” movement spans 100 cities in 40 countries, the station reported.
NBC Los Angeles reported more than a dozen workers protested in front of a Los Angeles McDonald's in support of a $15 per hour minimum wage.
In Toronto, workers planned actions at the Ministry of Labour, Pearson Airport and McDonald’s Canada headquarters to call for fair wages and decent work, including a $15 minimum wage.
