WorkForce Unlimited LLC, an affiliate of WorkForce Carolina Inc., acquired Rocky Mount, Va.-based The Prillaman Group. The Prillaman Group includes an executive search division and a staffing and consulting division doing business as TPG Staffing.

The transaction closed Jan. 3, with an effective date of Feb.1. Terms were not disclosed.

TPG Staffing has three Virginia locations — Rocky Mount, Radford and Galax — as well as a branch in  Andrews, N.C.

The TPG Staffing name will continue, and its executives will remain as a part of the company. Tim Prillaman, founder of The Prillaman Group, will lead the executive search division for WorkForce Carolina.

WorkForce Carolina Inc. was founded by Teresa Lewis in 1987. In 2013, WorkForce Unlimited LLC was formed as an affiliate to focus on markets outside of the Carolinas, as well as logistics outsourcing. The companies are headquartered in Mount Airy, N.C.
