WilsonHCG acquires Sumner Grace

March 24, 2015

Recruitment process outsourcing provider WilsonHCG acquired Sumner Grace, a US-based global talent acquisition, talent management and workforce planning consulting firm.

The transaction closed March 16; terms were not disclosed.

Sumner Grace, headquartered in Charlotte, N.C., complements WilsonHCG service offerings and culture, according to the company. It adds to WilsonHCG’s existing human capital management consulting services by providing additional scalability and enhanced consulting offerings. Areas of particular focus include talent strategy and design, technology assessment and vendor implementation and HR transformation.

“WilsonHCG is driving innovation within the human capital market, by redefining RPO and being a true strategic business partner,” said John Wilson, founder and CEO of WilsonHCG and CEO of the combined organization. “The addition of Sumner Grace to the existing WilsonHCG suite of human capital consulting services continues to add to the progressive solutions we offer.”

The Sumner Grace brand will remain during the transition period but eventually all services will roll into the WilsonHCG brand.

Geoffrey Dubiski, founder and managing director of Sumner Grace, has been named executive VP of consulting for WilsonHCG. Prior to founding Sumner Grace, Dubiski worked as the VP of operations for a US-based staffing and vendor management service provider focused on large-scale workforce engagements and RPO.

Joe Kotch and John Blowers will also remain with the company, both as managing directors of consulting.

WilsonHCG is headquartered in Tampa, Fla.
