Courthouse News Service reports 80 skilled workers from India filed three federal lawsuits against recruiters — including Global Resources Inc. and Medtech Consultants — and Signal International, a Gulf Coast marine and fabrication company. The workers claim they suffered “barbaric and prison-like conditions” in post-Katrina Mississippi after being lured to America with false promises and then robbed of thousands of dollars.
