Wanted Technologies Corp. estimates the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics will announce a loss of only 260,000 jobs in June when it releases U.S. nonfarm payrolls on July 2.
Among the losses, Wanted estimates a decline of 11,700 jobs in transportation and warehousing, a loss of 16,000 jobs in finance and insurance and a gain of 30,200 jobs in healthcare.
Wanted estimated a loss of 565,000 jobs in May. The Bureau of Labor Statistics reported a loss of 345,000 for the month.
Wanted's forecast is based, in part, on a weekly measure of online jobs ads.
