VMS provider names chief customer officer

PeopleFluent, the Waltham, Mass.-based provider of the PeopleFluent VMS, named Courtney Harkins as chief customer officer. She will report to CEO Jeff Carr.

The role was originally created to merge all customer-facing roles, from pre to post sales, into a singular accountable organization. Former Chief Customer Officer Isobel Harris has been appointed director on the PeopleFluent board and will remain chair of the company’s customer advisory board.

Harkins joined PeopleFluent as director of customer support in 2012 after leading North American HR outsourcing SaaS service at Ceridian Corporation as VP of client services.
