VMS provider IQNavigator rolls out rebranding as part of three-year plan

January 25, 2016

IQNavigator is rolling out its new IQN brand as it enters the third year of what executives say is a three-year reimagining of the company, which ranks as one of the larger vendor management system providers.

The company will go by both IQN and IQNavigator, although its website is now www.iqn.com and the company is still formally named IQNavigator.

Previous changes include naming Joseph Juliano as CEO in 2013 and selling its managed services provider business to MSX International Inc. in 2014.

IQN also announced it is rolling out new features including an “Intelligence Suite” to provide operational metrics and insight — such as days to fill and average bill rate for occupations — based on data from a client’s own program as well as information from across IQN’s customer base. Features will also include a talent search feature that allows hiring managers to search by attributes of a job rather than by title. Also, IQN's ATOM (Augmented Talent Ontology Machine) will use machine intelligence to inform tactical user decisions and provide strategic program guidance.

The company is rolling out the features this year and they are all in beta testing at some customer operations.

Looking forward at the VMS space in general, Juliano said technology should be about efficiency.

“We think of technologies as an enabler,” Juliano said. “It’s an enabler that essentially creates an efficiency.”

For staffing firms, that means more integration with other platforms such as video interviewing and background checks without having to re-key information from one system into another. It’s about allowing firms to get the tactical tasks done more quickly and giving them more time to concentrate on the strategic, Juliano said.
