VMS provider IQNavigator names new CFO

January 06, 2015

IQNavigator, a vendor management system provider, announced Barry Capoot joined the company as CFO, effective Jan. 5. He replaces Debi Srdoc, who will be leaving IQNavigator to pursue other opportunities.

Capoot has more than 22 years of corporate finance and accounting experience including senior leadership positions in the financial services, software and manufacturing sectors. He most recently was CFO for Genesis Water, a technology company specializing in dewatering. Prior to Genesis Water, Capoot was CFO for Grant Victor, a network of retail ATM companies, where he developed the company’s financial reporting, served as a key decision maker in capital allocation projects and provided senior counsel in contract negotiations. Prior to this, Capoot spent 10 years in investment banking, executing a variety of middle-market mergers and acquisitions and financing transactions.

“IQNavigator starts 2015 with a very clear mission to grow organically and inorganically,” said President and CEO Joe Juliano. “Adding Barry to our leadership team is an important component of accomplishing this objective. His significant M&A experience, understanding of markets and track record of success make him the perfect candidate to lead our financial team as we enter into this new chapter.”

Srdoc joined IQNavigator in 2008 as corporate controller. She was appointed CFO in November 2012.

“We are grateful to Debi for her many contributions, her involvement in this transition, and we all wish her well in her future endeavors,” said Juliano. “With this leadership change complete, we will continue to execute on our strategy and capitalize on the significant opportunities in front of us.”

IQNavigator sold its managed services provider division to MSX International Inc. in August.
