USA - Impellam Names Leaders for North America

February 28, 2012

Impellam Group PLC, a global staffing provider, named new leadership for its North America operations. The firm promoted Jennifer Beck to CEO of its North American business, John Vlha to CFO and Patrick Ray to chief operating officer.

Beck joined Impellam in 2010 as managing director of the Guidant Group; she has more than 15 years of experience in the human capital services industry.

Former North America CEO James Boone left last year.

“Our North American operations are integral to the continued development our global portfolio of human capital services,” said Impellam Chairman Cheryl Jones. “Over the past two years, Jennifer has played a strategic role in expanding and executing Impellam’s plans to reposition the North American operation, to exploit gaps in our client’s service requirements and to enhance our service delivery and client innovation programs.”

Vlha joined Impellam in 2010 as vice president and controller of Guidant Group. He has more than 20 years of experience in the service industry.

Ray has more than 10 years of corporate and legal experience. He had joined Impellam in 2010 as general counsel with responsibility for North American operations. Ray was a shareholder at employment law firm Littler Mendelson P.C. before joining Impellam.

Impellam’s North American brands include Guidant Group, Corestaff Services, Leafstone Staffing Services, InfoCurrents.com and SRG Woolf. The company is based in Luton, England, and ranks No. 18 on Staffing Industry Analysts’ 2011 list of largest global staffing firms.
