The median starting salary for US bachelor’s degree grads in the class of 2014 was $45,478, according to the 2015 Spring Salary Survey by the National Association of Colleges and Employers.

Engineering grads’ median starting salary was $64,367 while business grads’ average salary was $49,035, according to the report. Liberal arts and humanities majors had a median salary of $36,237.

The survey included more than 140 colleges and universities nationwide, and represent data for more than 45,000 bachelor’s degree graduates.
