U.S.-based staffing firm Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann company, today announced the acquisition of Connections Recruitment Ltd., a professional staffing firm located in London. It is Yoh’s first overseas acquisition and provides access to the European staffing market.

“Connections thoroughly understands the nature of talent demand for skilled technical professionals across Europe,” said Lori Schultz, President of Yoh. “Its deep reach in the European talent pool, particularly in the IT and engineering sectors, combined with Yoh’s suite of workforce solutions, will be extremely valuable to existing Yoh clients seeking to better manage the temporary segment of their global workforce.”

Connections will serve as headquarters for Yoh’s United Kingdom and European operations. The office will continue to be led by Connections’ managing director, Alex Mauree. In addition, Phillip Mead, Connections’ director of client relationships, will manage recruiting and client delivery.
