US – Volt Executive to Retire

November 27, 2012

Volt Information Sciences Inc. (OTCBB: VISI) announced that Tom Daley, president of its staffing operations unit Volt Workforce Solutions, will retire at the end of the year.

Daley joined Volt in 1980. He is currently responsible for Volt’s global staffing services business in North America, Europe, South America and Southeast Asia. He also serves as second vice chairman of the American Staffing Association.

“Tom has been an influential leader through a period of remarkable growth in the company’s staffing business,” said President and CEO Ron Kochman. “The company is grateful for his innumerable contributions to the company during his distinguished tenure.”

Volt’s staffing business units will report directly to Kochman after Daley retires. The company is streamlining the go-to-market for staffing so that the same salesperson will be able to work with customers on preferred supplier deals, master vendor contracts or managed programs.

Volt ranks No. 11 on Staffing Industry Analysts’ list of largest U.S. staffing firms with $1.72 billion in 2011 U.S. staffing revenue.
