The latest Pulse Survey from Staffing Industry Analysts found the median year-over-year revenue growth among temporary staffing firms was 10 percent in January. That’s down from 11 percent in December.
“Some wider differences between segments emerged in reported year-over-year revenue growth. The industrial and IT staffing segments reported notably higher median growth compared to the allied healthcare and engineering/design segments,” said Research Associate Ziv Tepman.
Information technology and industrial staffing firms led in revenue growth with median 10 percent year-over-year revenue growth each in January.
The median response for revenue growth in the allied healthcare and engineering/design segments was zero percent.
The report includes responses from 156 staffing firms.
