UK – Turnover up by nearly a fifth at ADVANCE

08 October 2015

Chester-based workforce management company ADVANCE, which supports freelancers, contractors and recruitment firms, achieved annual turnover growth of 18% to £52 million for the year ending 31 March 2015.

The company, which is targeting sales of at least £70 million for the current financial year, has achieved five consecutive years of growth since its launch in 2010.

Founder and joint Managing Director Tim Hunt attributed the company’s growth to a “significant increase” in recruitment agency client numbers, coupled with diversification into new areas: “One major success story of recent times has been the dramatic increase in demand for our accountancy services from contractors and freelancers who run their own limited company.”

“This is something we’ll be looking to build on further in the coming months and years on the back of some unique features developed by ADVANCE for this sector. As a business we are constantly looking to enhance and broaden our service offering, and have plenty of exciting projects in the pipeline that will help us continue to grow,” he stated.

Joint Managing Director Shaun Critchley added: “As a management team we feel the business is in extremely good shape, with solid foundations and plenty of scope for further growth. We’re looking to the future with ambition and confidence, and are determined to fulfil our potential.”

“A major focus for the next 12 months will be to identify and embrace smarter ways of working as we seek to provide a truly world-class service at all times,” Mr Critchley concluded.
