UK - Morson International to provide labour for UK nuclear company

24 November 2015

Manchester-based technical recruiting firm Morson Group (MRN:LSE), announced that it will partner with UK nuclear company, Nu Generation’s (NuGen) Moorside, project in West Cumbria. Morson will be the primary provider of labour staffing for the project, which aims to build the UK’s largest nuclear power station.

“This is an exciting partnership for Morson and NuGen and we are delighted to further develop our relationship with NuGen to become their chosen managed service agent,” David Lynchehaun, Head of Client Development at Morson, said.

NuGen, a joint venture company between Toshiba and ENGIE, plans to build the new nuclear power station at Moorside on the West Cumbrian coast near the Sellafield nuclear site.

“The agreement with Morson is a positive step forward for NuGen and this framework will be extremely valuable in supporting the Moorside Project as we power forward over the coming months and years,”, Karen Campbell, NuGen’s Head of Human Resources, said.

The Moorside project will aim to build a nuclear power station that could supply up to 7% of the UK’s electricity in the future.

Morson International is a specialist technical and engineering recruitment company for the engineering industry.
