UK – American private equity firms mulling offer for NES Global Talent

28 January 2015

New York-based private equity firm KKR & Co is reported to be among a group of private equity firms considering making an offer for UK oil & gas recruitment firm NES Global Talent, reports Bloomberg.

NES Global Talent’s current owner, private equity firm AEA Investors, is reportedly seeking more than £450 million for the company, which it acquired for less than half that amount about two years ago, according to unnamed sources.

AEA hasn’t yet started sales talks and may decide to keep the Manchester-based company, which also places infrastructure, chemical, and life-science professionals.

When approached by Bloomberg, KKR & Co declined to comment and requests for a comment from AEA Investors went unanswered.
