U.S. leading index up 0.3%

The Conference Board's U.S. leading index of economic indicators rose 0.3% in December and now stands at 99.5 (2004=100). Real money supply helped boost the index. In addition, the December reading includes The Conference Board's annual revisions to the indexes to bring them up to date with changes in source data.
