TransForce Inc., a nationwide truck-driver staffing firm headquartered in Alexandria, Va., acquired the assets of Choice Drivers, a regional provider of commercial truck drivers with its primary operations in Arizona.

The transaction closed April 24; terms were not disclosed.

The Choice Drivers brand will remain temporarily for a transition period, and the senior leadership team will remain with the firm.

“TransForce is extremely excited about this acquisition,” said TransForce President and CEO David Broome. “Choice is a well-established provider of quality drivers in the Arizona market and we are very pleased to have the opportunity to consolidate our operations and to provide even greater opportunities for our customers and drivers.”

Choice is the fifth acquisition for TransForce in the last 28 months and more are in the pipeline, according to Broome. The firm this month acquired Davis Transportation Services, a New England firm. Other recent acquisitions include Alcoa, Tenn.-based Best Drivers and DriveForce Transportation Services and DriveForce Transportation Services in Oklahoma.
