The Willis Group reported today one of its subsidiaries acquired IS&T Staffing Group, a privately held information technology staffing services provider located in Houston.

The deal was made by Genuent, a Houston-based IT staffing subsidiary of the Willis Group, and closed Feb. 7. Terms of the private transaction were not disclosed.

The IS&T Staffing Group brand will not remain but Managing Partner Tony Pannagl joins Genuent/Willis Group in a business development role.

“The information technology staffing market is becoming increasingly challenging and identifying the very best candidates becomes more critical. Genuent has a sophisticated recruiting and delivery engine with a national reach that made the marriage of our firms a natural step for IS&T Staffing Group,” said IS&T founder Tony Pannagl. 

IS&T specializes in retained search and contingent staffing for the IT sector and its clients include brands in the energy trading, telecom, financial services, legal, retail and healthcare industries.

The Willis Group recently acquired a California-based IT staffing firm and ranks No. 11 on Staffing Industry Analysts’ list of fastest-growing staffing firms.
