The Fahrenheit Group, a Richmond, Va.-based business advisory and professional services firm, acquired Bencks & Co., a boutique executive search firm also based in Richmond.

Fahrenheit sought to increase capacity in response to the rising demand from clients for C-suite and specialty recruiting services. 

“Fahrenheit’s talent acquisition division has been growing rapidly and we were looking for a good, strategic fit to continue that growth,” said Rich Reinecke, co-managing partner of Fahrenheit. “In discussions with longtime friend of Fahrenheit and executive search industry veteran, Russ Bencks, the topic of bringing our collective capabilities together resulted in a deal to have Bencks & Co. become part of The Fahrenheit Group enhancing our market-leading executive search and talent acquisition business.”

The Fahrenheit Group, founded in 2010, provides advisory, accounting and finance, and human resource services. It has offices in Richmond, Va.; Metro Washington, DC; Raleigh, NC; and Phoenix.
