Vaco, a Nashville, Tenn.-based staffing firm targeting the accounting, financial, IT and administrative professionals, acquired 50 percent of healthcare executive search firm Focus Search Partners.

The transaction closed April 4; terms were not disclosed. All members of Focus Search will continue to work with the firm.

“Executive search rounds out Vaco’s suite of services and allows us to recruit a company’s executive leadership and then fulfill all of their IT, finance and administrative needs on a project and permanent basis,” said Vaco CEO Jerry Bostelman.

Focus Search Partners will operate as Focus Search Partners, A Vaco Company, and provide its retained search services across Vaco’s 28 U.S. offices.

Founded in Nashville in 2001, Focus Search also operates in Atlanta, Dallas, Denver, Nashville and New Jersey.
