Temps Inc., a St. Louis-based healthcare staffing firm, said Thursday it completed its acquisition of BrightMed Inc., a provider of travel nurses and allied healthcare professionals.

"The combined company will offer both per diem and travel options to our employees and clients, have a dramatic impact on our database of quality candidates and offer additional opportunities for growth," said Temps Inc. President and CEO Todd Kane.

Terms of the transaction were not announced.
