Temp staffing registers 7% revenue gain in April

May 26, 2010

Temporary staffing showed widespread improvement last month with a weighted average year-over-year gain of 7% in revenue in April, according to the April Pulse Survey of staffing firms released by Staffing Industry Analysts.

All temporary staffing segments reported widespread sequential improvement or mild improvement except for travel nursing, which reported mild deterioration.

Seven staffing firms reported they closed deals to buy other staffing firms in April.

April's Pulse Survey included 165 staffing firms. Full results of the survey are available only to staffing firms that took part in the survey.
