Temp Staffing Revenue Up 17% in April

June 08, 2012

Temporary staffing revenue rose 17 percent year-over-year in April, according to results released this week from Staffing Industry Analysts’ latest Pulse Survey of staffing firms. Pulse data shows revenue growth in temporary staffing has seen an uptick since the beginning of 2011.

“This month’s survey revealed another month of strong growth, but overall and for some specific segments, growth has slowed since early 2011 when recovery in staffing appeared strongest,” said Robert Balicki, research analyst at Staffing Industry Analysts.

The report also found that direct hire revenue rose 18 percent on a year-over-year basis in April. Temp-to-hire revenue rose 19 percent in April.

The Pulse Survey includes data from 168 staffing firms.
