TeleTech Government Solutions LLC announced it hired 4,000 temporary workers after it was selected by the Federal Communications Commission to provide telephone assistance to consumers installing digital television converter boxes. The company will provide assistance both before and after the June 12 conversion to digital television.

TeleTech Government Solutions is part of TeleTech Holdings Inc., a provider of business process outsourcing for front- and back-office processes.
