TeamStaff names new CEO

February 10, 2010

TeamStaff Inc. (NASD: TSTF) named Zachary Parker as its new president and CEO effective Feb. 22.

Parker most recently served as executive VP for business development at VT Group, part of VT Group PLC, providing aerospace and defense services. He had also served as president of VT Group's largest U.S. subsidiary, VT Griffin. Prior to VT Group, Parker spent 19 years as Northrop Grumman.

Former TeamStaff CEO, Rick Filippelli, resigned effective Feb. 5.

The company announced in November that Filippelli would leave at the end of January. The company reported that it had reached a mutual agreement with Filippelli over his departure in the wake of a review that found shareholders would best be served by the company focusing on its government staffing subsidiary, TeamStaff Government Solutions. TeamStaff has since sold its healthcare staffing division.

Filippelli became CEO in January 2007, taking over from Kent Smith.

TeamStaff CFO Cheryl Presuto will serve as acting president until Parker comes on board Feb. 22.

TeamStaff, a Somerset NJ-based staffing firm, focuses on government staffing.
