Team Health Holdings Inc. (NYSE: TMH), a Knoxville, Tenn.-based firm, named Michael Snow as its president effective April 22. The position had been held by Greg Roth, who served as both president and CEO. Roth will continue as CEO.

TeamHealth ranks No. 7 on Staffing Industry Analysts’ list of largest healthcare staffing providers.

Snow will report directly to Roth and take on responsibility for the company’s operations, revenue cycle, administrative services, sales and marketing.

Snow previously served as chief operating officer of Amedisys Inc. He has also held numerous executive-level positions in the healthcare arena, including as president and CEO of Wellmont Health System.
