TaskRabbit, a San Francisco-based firm that allows consumers to contract out individual tasks online, launched its new TaskRabbit for business program, the company announced in a blog post today.

The company’s online workers have been hired by consumers in the past for tasks such as buying groceries or cleaning an apartment. TaskRabbit reports its new offering will focus on businesses, handle 1099s and allow companies to pay by the task or by the hour.
