Tapfin wins tentative New York contract

January 29, 2010

Tapfin, a division of Comsys IT Partners Inc. (NASD: CITP), announced a tentative contract award from the New York State Chief Information Officer and Office for Technology to serve as a managed services provider.

"The contract is expected to generate millions in savings statewide by aggregating IT staff augmentation consulting services and eliminating redundant efforts expended by state agencies," said Chief Information Officer Melodie Mayberry-Stewart.

Final contract negotiations are expected to be completed in the next 90 days.

The contract will last for a minimum of three years. Tapfin committed to 24% of subcontractors being New York-certified minority- and women-owned businesses.
