TSR Inc. (NASD: TSRI), a Hauppauge NY-based information technology staffing firm, reported revenue of $9.4 million for its fiscal first quarter ended Aug. 31, 2010, an increase of 3.0% compared with the same period in the previous year.
Gross margin edged up to 18.2% from 18.1% in the year-ago quarter.
TSR reported first-quarter net income of $40,674, down 50.8% from $82,735 in the first quarter of the previous year.
