A survey by TEKsystems found that 29% of companies plan to increase their IT hiring in the third quarter compared with 29% who said the same in the second quarter.
The survey also found that 59% of IT leaders say project needs will increase in the next six months.
The survey also reported increased competition for IT workers. Of the most difficult IT skill sets to fill, enterprise architects were the most difficult, according to the survey.
TEKsystems' survey questioned more than 1,000 chief information officers and IT decision makers in the U.S. and Canada.
