Synergie SA, a Paris-based staffing firm with operations in Europe and Canada, reported an 8% increase in revenue to euro610 million (US$963.7 million) in the first half of its fiscal year. The company said it's seeing gains with its efforts to focus on outplacement and human resources management services.

Synergie ranked No. 19 on Staffing Industry Analysts' list of the world's largest staffing firms.
