View All NewsSurvey: Silicon Valley hiring to increase
Employers in California’s Silicon Valley area plan to increase hiring through the second quarter of the year, according to the latest economic survey by the West Valley Staffing Group.
According to the quarterly survey, 97 percent of hiring managers predict their hiring will increase or remain steady during the second quarter of 2013, compared with 90 percent a year ago.
“Hiring managers from Silicon Valley are looking at another solid quarter,” said Charlie Allport, executive vice president of West Valley Staffing Group. “We are seeing healthy numbers of job orders and this survey indicates that we are heading into a busy second quarter.”
The survey included hiring managers from several industries, including high tech, manufacturing, electronics, finance, semiconductor, medical, aerospace and alternative energy.
