June 16, 2009

Healthcare reform is supported by 61% of people in the U.S. as the issue comes to the forefront in Washington, according to a survey by the Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation. The survey also found that 69% support employer mandates to provide healthcare.

However, the survey found that only 41% are willing to pay more for healthcare reform. And 54% were against taxing employer-based health insurance, one of the options being discussed in Washington regarding healthcare reform.

The survey interviewed 1,205 U.S. adults between June 1 through June 8.
