Sixty-three percent of hiring managers plan to add seasonal holiday workers this year, up from 51 percent in 2011, according to a new survey by Snagajob, a job portal for hourly workers.
The hourly pay for seasonal employees increased 10 cents, to $10.70 from $10.60 in 2011.
IPSOS Public Affairs, on behalf of Snagajob, conducted the online survey of more than 1,000 hourly hiring managers between Aug. 27-Sept. 7, 2012.
